From a cheap popular common drink, it has become a luxury product. Today "orujo" is up there with the great French marcs and the best Italian grapas. The gastronomic myth of an anonymous, unordered, rough, dry, strong orujo is a thing of the past, capable at times of finishing off the courageous drinker. It is true that there were good ones, although it was becoming more and more difficult to find them. And the noble trade of traveling eau-de vie sellers/producers has started to disappear, replaced by industrial production. However, part of this thousand-year-old art, passed down from father to son, has been preserved in the new Galician orujos.

Through modernization, we have recovered the mythical quality of the most prestigious and sought-after orujo in Spain, but it has been perfected so that it is no longer rough.

From our own marc, we distil the Porta do Miño eau-de-vies.

Their meticulous elaboration is inspired by the traditional production methods of O Rosal eau-de-vie and in our desire to achieve the highest standards possible.

The aromatic composition of the WHITE EAU-DE-VIE is complex. A powerful and subtle eclosion of fragrances, perfectly harmonized, reminiscent of the floral, fruity and extremely elegant memories of the grapes from which it comes.

The palate, broad, elegant, long calls to mind that perceived nasally.

The tasting of this eau-de-vie does not only imply a true pleasure for the senses, but also the communicative participation with a history and tradition deeply rooted in Galicia.

Abounding in tradition and using it as a base, we also produce HERB EAU-DE-VIE and COFFEE LIQUEUR.
